Terms of Service
By creating an account or otherwise using KnowHaul, you agree to these terms. Please read the data disclaimer below carefully — it is central to how this product may be used.

The service
KnowHaul provides carrier-intelligence tools — carrier profiles, fraud and risk signals, vetting checks, lane prospecting, and industry trends — built on data derived from FMCSA filings and other public records. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms.
Data disclaimer — read this
All carrier data on KnowHaul is derived from FMCSA and other public-records sources and is provided “as is,” for informational purposes only. It is not legal, credit, insurance, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for your own due diligence.
We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Public-records sources lag, contain errors, and change. You must independently verify any data point — authority status, insurance, identity, safety standing — directly with the carrier and the authoritative source before making any business decision, including tendering a load or extending credit. You are solely responsible for your decisions, and KnowHaul is not liable for outcomes based on the data or signals shown.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the service or its data outside the features and APIs we provide;
- resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data as a competing dataset or product;
- circumvent rate limits, entitlement caps, or access controls, or share your account credentials; or
- use the service to harass any carrier or for any unlawful purpose.
Accounts and subscriptions
A free account is a real tier — no card and no time limit. Carrier profiles, fraud flags, the vetting checks, and industry trends stay free; a free account adds lane pins, a watchlist, and larger leads searches. Paid Pro raises the prospecting caps. See Pricing for the current plans.
Pro is offered at $49/month early-adopter pricing. That price is grandfathered: it stays locked in for as long as you remain continuously subscribed, even as the list price rises. If you cancel and resubscribe later, you rejoin at the then-current list price. Payments, billing, and renewals are handled by Paddle as our merchant of record; refunds and cancellation are covered by our Refund Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KnowHaul is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing-law jurisdiction to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This placeholder will be finalized before publication.
